Christian leaders around the world have hailed the Internet as the best new way to reach the world with Christ’s love. However, one obstacle in using the Internet for evangelism is attracting non-Christians to Christian websites. We at Global Span Education have found a solution to that challenge by building a bridge to them. What do a billion teens and young adults in the two-thirds world have in common? They are learning English as a Second Language (ESL). Global Span Education uses the Internet and television to teach English as a Second Language thus building a bridge for the students to hear the Gospel. Even in areas of the third world where people can’t afford their own computers, Internet cafes abound on every corner; so hearing the Gospel is only a click away. Games, lessons, puzzles, and 24/7 online chat keep them stuck to our website for hours. Visitors to our website come back again and again in order to take full advantage of all the opportunities to learn English as a Second Language that the website has to offer. In doing so these non-Christian's from Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist and other religious backgrounds repeatedly see God's love and hear the Gospel. |

Google Zeitgeist, the world's largest search engine's research department, released that in 2007 the number one "who is .......?" search query was "Who is God?" with "Who is Jesus?" coming in at the fourth spot. The top "What is......?" search was "What is love?". The global opportunity for fulfilling the Great Commission in our life time is now a more realistic goal than it ever has been in history thanks to the internet. |

Global Span Ministries’ outreach website www.cartoonenglish.tv gives the one Billion plus ESL students around the world a chance to improve their English with free lessons and 24/7 online chat while sharing with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ; many of them for the first time. The English lessons give reference to western traditions like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Maggie, our virtual English teacher, simply and clearly explains the Good News for those who desire to hear it. We have also partnered with other churches and mission agencies by providing links to their websites for more information about Christ in that country’s national language. Many students will find our website by searching on the internet. However, Global Span Ministries also produces educational ESL television programming that is appealing to secular viewers, so that our programs can be broadcast on mainstream television stations and Christian stations around the world, even in areas deemed closed to regular missions. The name of the program is the same as the website e.g. Cartoon English dot TV’s website is www.cartoonenglish.tv, so there is a direct link from the television show to our pre-evangelistic website. These cartoons are also available on our website for the students to view. Click on the Video button to watch an episode of Cartoon English dot TV. In addition to being on our website the videos are found on YouTube, GoogleVideo and YahooVideo. Students searching for ESL lessons can watch our videos and then follow the link to our website for ESL lessons and the Gospel. We also provide business card size advertisements for short-term mission groups, YWAM bases and local churches to give to people they meet overseas that are learning English. |

The United States evolved from a 1980s pariah into the new millennial capital of the New World Teen Culture. American culture from music and clothing to you name it has spread around the world. They may burn the stars and stripes but never their Jeans or their Hip Hop CDS. Many of these teenagers are also learning English to sing along with the music. This presents a tremendous opportunity for missions to reach out globally for the first time since the Apostle Paul preached the Gospel in the Greek language to the many ethnic groups in the Roman Empire. Because of the common language the Gospel quickly and easily spread. Today we have the same opportunity. Contact us today! |
